As a CNRS Research Director in Materials Chemistry, my current expertise lies in the discovery, from the synthesis to the structural analysis, of porous solids, particularly hybrid solids such as Metal Organic Frameworks, to their applications, including separation, gas storage, catalysis, biomedicine and more recently cultural heritage preservation. I am currently leading a new Research Laboratory (since 2016), the Institute of Porous Materials of Paris, a joint CNRS Ecole Normale Supérieure - Ecole Supérieure de Physique et de Chimie Industrielles de Paris laboratory. I was for 8 years the group of leader of the 'Porous Solids' at the Institut Lavoisier de Versailles (France), a joint CNRS-université de Versailles St Quentin laboratory.
