Bio
Emma Schleiger received the Ph.D. degree in clinical neuroscience from the University of Queensland, Australia. She is a Multi-Disciplinary Research Scientist with CSIRO’s Data61. She is currently researching human-digital interactions and the opportunities for humans and AI to collaborate to create value. She recently coauthored a discussion paper that informed the development of Australia’s AI Ethics Principles, which guide businesses and governments in responsibly designing, developing and implementing AI. Over the last several years her work has focused on the human impact of digital technologies, particularly the responsible use and development of AI.
