个人简介
Astrophysicist and theoretical atomic physicist, specialized in fundamental atomic structure calculations with a particular focus on atomic processes in relation to astrophysical spectroscopy to aid in our understanding of stars and their environments, the evolution of chemical elements and the history of the Milky Way, as well as the possible origin of heavy elements in neutron-star merger gravitational wave events. In addition to atomic structure calculations, I have also carried out various types of experiments, in particular, of charge-exchange processes in low-energy collisions between iron-peak elements and hydrogen at the cryogenic double electrostatic storage ring, DESIREE, at Stockholm University, Sweden. Furthermore, I've worked with the management of the VALD atomic and molecular database [http://vald.astro.uu.se], and I'm also a board member of the Computation Atomic Physics (CompAS) collaboration [https://compas.github.io] on the teaching and development of multiconfigurational atomic structure methods and codes. Many of these codes, including the GRASP atomic structure code, are being developed and regularly updated in a fully open-source fashion under the CompAS GitHub account [https://github.com/compas].
Since October 2023 I'm working at the Swedish Defence Research Agency.
