Giovanni Mostile

G. Mostile received the medical degree and the Ph.D. degree in disorders of the autonomic nervous system from the University of Catania Medical School, Catania, Italy, in 2006 and 2010, respectively, where he then completed the Residency Program in neurology. From 2008 to 2010, he attended as a Research Fellow at the Parkinson Disease Center and Movement Disorders Clinic, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX, USA. He is currently a Researcher at the University of Catania and a Medical Specialist at the Neurological Clinic of University Hospital “A.O.U. Policlinico G. Rodolico—S. Marco,” Catania, Italy. His research topics mainly focus on neurodegenerative disorders, with particular interest in Parkinson’s disease, hypokinetic and hyperkinetic movement disorders, electrophysiological techniques using quantitative EEG and motion transducers, signal analysis of biological signal using linear and nonlinear techniques, and basic and advanced statistical analysis of clinical and instrumental data.
