I am a plant pathologist with 25 years experience in New Zealand CRIs and MPI (MAF). I have extensive experience in mycology and bacteriology; particularly relating to identification, crop protection, epidemiology and risk analysis. I predominantly work on diseases of fruit and vegetable crops; currently my primary areas are kiwifruit diseases, including kiwifruit trunk diseases (KTDs), Neonectria kiwifruit canker, kiwifruit bacterial canker (Psa) and postharvest fruit pathology.
