Benjamin L Makepeace

Following my undergraduate and postgraduate training at the University of Southampton and the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM), I returned to LSTM for my postdoctoral years, which were dedicated to research on onchocerciasis using a natural large animal system in Cameroon, Onchocerca ochengi. After a move to the University of Liverpool, my research group continues to work on onchocerciasis as well as a variety of other neglected vector-borne diseases in a One Health context.
