My research centers on testing behavior change interventions at the intersection of addiction, habitual behaviors, and health. We need better ways to get interventions to patients who need them, especially those in rural and non-urban areas. My group is testing technology delivery of evidence-based interventions..I have two research programs: improving outcomes among people living with HIV, and improving women’s health behaviors in the preconceptional and perinatal periods. Currently, Becca Dillingham and I are testing the impact of our mHealth platform for people living with HIV in a number of settings. Additionally, with colleagues at Lee Ritterband's Center for Behavioral Health and Technology, we continue to develop and test eHealth and mHealth programs for chronic illnesses.
