I have a broad background in Neurodevelopmental Disorders and in particular ASD, with specific training and expertise in key research ASD areas. I have been interested in the ethiopathogenetic bases of ASD as well as neurobehavioral and neuropsychological assessments, searching for possible clinical biomarkers. Our ASD Service is classified as a Center of Excellence in Italy, and has therefore the possibility to recruit patients from all over the country. My interest in developing new investigative pathways to identify co-morbid conditions or etiological factors in ASD led to deep genetics and biochemical examinations as it has been shown by our recent publications in peer-reviewed journals. Director of the Diagnostic, Clinical, and Therapeutic Route (PDTA) for AUTISM - City of Bologna (since September 2016).
