Bio
Nathan Huynh received the B.S. degree in civil and environmental engineering from Temple University in 1996, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in transportation engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, in 1999 and 2005, respectively.
From 2003 to 2007, he worked with the Port of Houston Authority as a Special Projects Manager. From 2007 to 2008, he was an Assistant Professor with North Carolina A&T State University. He has been a Faculty Member with the University of South Carolina since 2008. He is currently a Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering. His current research interests include supply chain and logistics, intermodal network design, freight transportation systems, civil infrastructure systems, and health care systems.
