B. Stepanov

Boris Stepanov was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on June 6, 1955. He received the degree from the Saint Petersburg State Electrotechnical University, Saint Petersburg, Russia, in 1978. In 1978, he started his career with Efremov Institute, Saint Petersburg, working in the area of superconducting magnets. In 1994, he joined the Superconducting Coils and Structure Division of the ITER Project Central Team in Naka, Japan; he was engaged in the design of the ITER magnet system. Since 2000, he has been with the Technology Division, Swiss Plasma Center, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Villigen, Switzerland.
