Research Interests:
production, isolation, characterization and usage of fungal enzymes in obtaining of high value food products – dietetic fibers, insoluble and soluble – prebiotics (FOS and XOS)
Enzyme production and improve plant and microbial origin, and microorganisms used in food biotechnology, bio-ethanol production and environmental protection.
Amylase from plants and fungi of the genus Aspergillus.
Cellulase from the fungi of the genus Trichoderma and Aspergillus.
Fermentation using yeast, Saccharomyces genus and Klyveromyces genus.
Biochemistry and physiology of the digestive system of insects. Model systems: amylase and cellulase from cerambycid beetles Morimus funereus; model system for examining digestion of carbohydrates and nutritional and antinutritional effects of food components and their effects on larval development, respectively.
Immunochemical methods.
Projects managed:
• project 451-03-2802/2013-16/75, “Obtaining a low-calorie dietary fiber from triticale (Triticosecale, Rimpau) for human consumption by using the endogenous enzymes and enzyme complex from fungi” financed by the Ministry of Science and Technology Development, from 06.2014.-06.2015.
• international bilateral project between Serbia and Austria "Production, improvement, characterization and usage of fungal enzyme complexes in obtaining new cereal dietary fibers” 451-03-02141/2017-09/20, from 2019 -2021.
Projects involved:
• project funded by the Ministry of Science and Environmental Protection number 1755. From 2006 to 2010 she was involved in a project funded by the Ministry of Science and Technological Development number 142026B.
• international bilateral project between Serbia and Spain "Production, characterization and use of enzymes in biocatalysis: hydrolases and oxidoreductases" from 2011-2012.
• projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology Development under the number OI 172048 OI ("Production, isolation and characterization of the enzymes in soluble and immobilized in the form of food biotechnology, biofuels and environmental protection") and OI 172055 ("Interactions of natural products, derivatives thereof and complex compounds with proteins and nucleic acids ").
project Proof of Concept “Novel cost-efficient adsorptive procedure for dye removal following green chemistry principles”, ID 5268, funded Innovation Fund Republic of Serbia
