个人简介
My research interests involve several aspects of communication network: physical layer technologies in optical communication network, system integration for optical communication network, and network topology design and implementation. In particular I have rich experiences on physical and logical topology design, routing and wavelength assignment (RWA) algorithms, traffic grooming, multi-granularity wavelength switching, generalized multi-protocol label switching (GMPLS), automatic switched optical networks (ASON), optical cross-connect and optical add/drop multiplexer (OXC/OADM) technologies, the application of semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) especially for wavelength conversion, tunable external cavity semiconductor laser, and WDM transmission system design and evaluation.
I have led and taken part in more than 10 EU FP6&7, International, bilateral, national and industrial projects.
