Roberto Hincapie

Roberto Hincapie received a B.S. degree in electronic engineering, an M.S. degree in engineering, and a Ph.D. degree in engineering from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, Medellín, Colombia, in 1996, 2005, and 2009, respectively. He is currently an assistant professor of telecommunications engineering with the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, and the Director of the GIDATI Research Group. His work is based on mathematical modeling and simulation techniques. His research interests include resource allocation in wireless mesh networks, network planning, and tele-traffic engineering, with applications to quality of service and rural coverage.
