Focusing on regulation of agricultural water and recources. Particually, using nitrogen mangement strategies, deficit irrigation methods, and controlled drainage and so on agronomic measures to improve water-nitrogen use efficiencies in crops (maize, rice and cotton) and reduce environmental risks. Also, addressing the physiological mechinism of multiple waterlogging stresses on crop growth and development; exploring effective approaches to enhance waterlogging resistance of plants.
