Alla Kravets

Alla G. Kravets was born in Volgograd, Russia, in 1971. She received the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences in 2003 and Doctor of Technical Sciences in 2008 from the Volgograd State Technical University, Russia. She has been working at Volgograd State Technical University from 1993 at the CAD and PC department. She has passed from the leading programmer to the professor of the department. She is the author of 7 books and more than 200 articles. Her research interests include technologies and software of distributed and high-performance computing systems; knowledge and databases; predictive modeling and multidisciplinary optimization. She is an Associate Editor in Springer's Communications in Computer and information Science series. Professor Kravets is a member of the International Association of Development of the Information Society (IADIS) and a vice-head of the Dissertation Expert Council D 212.028.08 at Volgograd State Technical University.
