M. I. Gerasimova

M. I. Gerasimova currently works at the Department of Landscape Geochemistry and Soil Geography, Lomonosov Moscow State University and in Dokuchaev Soil Science Institute. M. does research in Soil Science, and her main interests were soil geography, small-scale soil mapping, special (applied prognostic) maps. Now she is involved in updating the recent classification of soils of Russia and human-modified soils. Their most recent publication is 'Functional-Environmental and Properties-Oriented Approaches in Classifying Urban Soils (In Memoriam Marina Stroganova)'.
