Abstract
The High Frequency Microwave Limb Sounder measures several atmospheric chemical species to improve our understanding of stratospheric ozone chemistry, the interaction of composition and climate, and pollution in the upper troposphere. In order to compute the power of several narrow bands, Digital Autocorrelator Spectrometers (DACS) is analyzed. Through 2-bit digitizer and auto-correlator algorithm, 2-bit correlation coefficients can be obtained. After Fourier transformation, power spectrum of signal for high resolution bands is received. As the advantage of digital circuit for small size, flexible application, and low power dissipation, the designed system has good stability and high resolution for spectrum analyzing.
