Study on the Conductivity and Exciton Recombination Zone of the 2FPPICz Emission Layer of Crystalline OLED

We investigate the conductivity and the exciton recombination region in a crystalline 2FPPICz film, a typical semiconductor material used in crystalline OLED. The hole and electron conductivity is 8.8 x 10(-7) S/cm and 1.2 x 10(-7) S/cm, measured by a MOS structure diode, respectively. Then, we insert a DCJTB as a red fluorescent probe at different places in a 100-nm-thickness crystalline 2FPPICz film and observe the red light emission derived from the DCJTB. The results show that the crystalline 2FPPICz film has a balanced conductivity and a wide exciton recombination zone, which will greatly assist the development of high-performance C-OLEDs.
