Study on the path of improving the supply chain performance of Chinese aviation manufacturing industry in the context of Industry 4.0 technology

The concept of “Industry 4.0” has set off a new wave of technological revolution in the field of industrial manufacturing, which has a great impact on the international industrial field. China’s manufacturing industry is facing the problems of urgent time and arduous task in the process of “Industry 4.0” transformation and upgrading. This paper constructs a relationship model of the impact of “Industry 4.0” technology on the supply chain performance of an aerospace manufacturing company in China and introduces structural equation modeling to empirically analyze the proposed path hypothesis. The research results show that: additive manufacturing, blockchain, cloud computing and IoT technologies have a significant positive impact on supply chain integration and customer satisfaction; supply chain integration has a significant positive impact on customer satisfaction; supply chain integration plays a mediating role between the four dimensions of “Industry 4.0” technologies and customer satisfaction. Accordingly, the key path of supply chain performance improvement of an aviation manufacturing enterprise in China is constructed, which is an important guidance for the supply chain transformation and upgrading of aviation manufacturing industry.
