Study of Nonlinearity in Dielectric Response Current of Vegetable Oil based Hybrid Nanofluids

Abstract
This paper presents the study of nonlinearity in dielectric response of hybrid nanofluids using Time Domain Spectroscopic measurements. For this purpose, hybrid nanofluids were prepared in the laboratory with vegetable oil as base oil and TiO 2 , Al 2 O 3 and their mixture as dispersing nanoparticles. Next, an experimental set-up is developed for Polarization and Depolarization Current measurement of the prepared hybrid nanofluids. The effect of nanoparticles and temperature in the polarization current is studied. Therefore, the nonlinear effect of higher voltage and temperature elevation is also studied. This nonlinear study further helps to determine the accurate model of insulation.content.
