Response to Foulad Et Al’s “educational and Scholarly Opportunities for Medical Students and Residents in the United States Dermatology Societies”

To the Editor: We commend Foulad et al1 for analyzing national-level dermatologic society membership guidelines and scholarly activities available to dermatology residents and medical students in the United States. Participation in these societies enhances medical education and residency training by offering access to leadership opportunities, research projects, and academic conferences. We aim to expand awareness of opportunities available to trainees in the United States by reporting accessibility to international dermatologic society memberships, as these also increase access to dermatologic resources.
