摘要
Permanent magnet synchronous generators (PMSGs) are prone to grid faults and may lose synchronization during severe faults. To improve the fault ride-through (FRT) capability of PMSG, this paper proposes a superconducting fault current limiter (SFCL) based coordinated control strategy. When grid faults occur, SFCL is used to increase the terminal voltage and dissipate the unbalanced power accumulated on the DC bus, while the machine side converter (MSC) adopts the decreasing power control (DPC) to eliminate the residual unbalanced power, to avoid the DC overvoltage. In addition, the control strategy of the grid side converter (GSC) is modified to provide optimal dynamic voltage support while maintaining the synchronization stability with the grid. Simulation results are presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.
