Design and Implementation of Medium and Low Frequency Long Baseline Positioning System

In navigation and deep-sea exploration, the long baseline system with the utmost accuracy in hydroacoustic positioning technology has been widely utilized. Currently, the most widely used long baseline positioning systems internationally operate between 8 and 30 kHz with a maximum distance of 10 kilometers. With the rapid growth of deep-sea exploration, traditional underwater long baseline positioning systems are progressively unable to meet the requirements of deep-sea exploration. Therefore, this paper proposes a long baseline system with a acoustic ranger at its core, a 25-kilometer operational range, and a low and medium frequency.
