摘要
The value of marginal materials in lowering the cost of constructing roads has been recognized by road organizations all around the world. Steel slags., a byproduct of the steelmaking process., have a great deal of potential for use as aggregate in highway construction. But first., it must pass the testing required for natural aggregates used as comparisons before this material can be employed in road construction. In this study., the physical., chemical., and morphological characterization of Nigerian electric-arc furnace (EAF) slag was carried out in order to determine whether or not this slag would be suitable as an aggregate in the construction of roads. The outcomes demonstrated that the EAF slag might be used as a marginal roadwork aggregate.
