摘要
As the electric power industry has expanded, it has become more crucial than ever to transmit electricity safely. Because the transformer plays a vital role in the power system, and the quality of transformer oil is directly related to the life of the transformer. Therefore, it is essential to assess the condition of the insulating oil. In this paper, the relationship between the interfacial tension and the aging process of insulating oils is investigated based on in-situ Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (in-situ FT-IR) techniques. Three different types of insulating oil are researched and the correlation between the interfacial tension and the peak area ratio of each ageing peak is analysed. It is observed that the peak area ratio of the ageing peaks showed a significant correlation with the interfacial tension, which can be used as a foundation for assessing the ageing level of the insulating oils.
