摘要
Phosphor-in-glass (PiG) to generate white light outputs under excitement in laser diodes (LDs) has set off a research wave owing to its flexible and adjustable luminescence, but the unavoidable loss between two different materials (phosphor and glass) has limited possible improvements in quantum efficiency (QE) and luminous efficiency (LE). In this paper, an optimized phosphate glass is creatively designed, the low sintering temperature and high optical transmittance reduce unnecessary optical losses and ensures the LE. After being compounded with the matrix glass, the Y3Al5O12: Ce3+ (YAG: Ce3+) phosphor not only maintains the integrity of the particles but also shows excellent luminous performance with a high QE of 89.51%. Under the excitation of 450 nm blue LD, a maximum LE of 307 lm/W is reached, indicating that the designed material has an outstanding laser fluorescence conversion ability and broad application prospects in the fields of laser lighting and displays.
