Abstract
•The hybrid NH2-MIL-101(Fe)/ZIF-8 MOF was synthesized via internal extended growth mode.•The prepared MOF performance was evaluated for physical adsorption of various gases.•Superior separation properties of the hybrid MOF compared to the NH2-MIL-101(Fe) and ZIF-8 MOFs were obtained.
