Optimal Configuration of Tie Switch Between Distribution Lines Considering Multi-Criteria Matching of Net Load Curves

The access of a high proportion of distributed photovoltaic has brought challenges to the economic and safe operation of distribution networks. Aiming at solving insufficient photovoltaic absorption and low equipment utilization efficiency of the distribution networks, an optimal configuration method of tie switch considering multi-criteria matching of distribution lines is proposed. Matching criteria of distribution lines are put forward according to net load curve correlation, net load magnitude and net load curve segmentation. A two-layer optimal configuration model of tie switch between matched distribution lines is established, the upper-level model takes the investment cost and network loss cost as objective functions, and the lower-level model takes the operating cost and degree of load balancing as objective functions. A hybrid algorithm combining improved genetic algorithm and second-order cone programming method is used to solve the problem. The simulation results show that the optimal configuration of tie switch based on the multi-criteria matching of distribution lines can improve the photovoltaic absorption and equipment utilization efficiency, and ensure the economic and safe operation of the distribution networks.
