Cadmium oxide nanoparticle modified carbon paste electrode sensor for sulfadiazine: A voltammetric study

摘要
Here, a synthesis of cadmium oxide nanoparticle by using a co-precipitation method and is characterized with XRD, SEM and EDS analysis. Synthesized nanoparticle used as modified carbon paste electrode with sensing antibacterial and antimalarial drug. The CdO/MCPE shows the excellent sensitivity electrochemical determi-nation of Sulfadiazine (SFZ) by using CV and DPV, The experimental parameter like pH and sweep rate study were carried for the determination SFZ and PA, the CdO/MCPE is applied for the simultaneous determination of SFZ and PA, The detection limit of both SFZ and PA were established to be 0.216 mu M and 3.316 mu M respectively. The consequence of interference study was examined using by the DPV technique. The electrode display accomplished stability and reproducibility.
