Functions of the Distribution of Rhythmogram R–R Intervals

Review of the author’s latest published works provides the basis for analysis of the shapes of probability distribution functions of random events in the form of R-R intervals. The shapes and full compliance with the normal probability distribution law were found to be universal. Using three selected rhythmograms (out of 32), studies addressed the mechanism of formation of the distribution function in four statistical moments. The first two moments correspond to the asymptotic form of the approximation, and the second two to the self-oscillating form.
