Reply to Comment on “Multi-fractal characteristics of reconstructed landform and its relationship with soil erosion at a large opencast coal-mine in the loess area of China” by Shi et al. (2021)

We responded to the comment by Chen and Huang (2022). We found that the formula of R factor originally quoted was wrong. We replaced it with a new formula suitable for the Loess Plateau, and corrected the errors in the article.
