Phytonanoparticles toward the treatment of diabetes

Diabetes is a metabolic disorder that occurs by altering the blood sugar level. It affects several organs of our body including sensory organs. Recent research from several models of animals decodes the series of cascade reactions that occur within the organism before the onset of diabetes. Several drugs are available in the market to prevent diabetes. In the modern era, nanoparticles play a key role in the treatment of diabetes over conventional medicine. Furthermore, to avoid the toxicity of nanoparticles many phyotonanoparticles are synthesized and applied to treat diabetes. The outcome of the study suggests phyotonanoparticle have an advantage over other nanoparticles. The current chapter summarizes the synthesis, characterization, and mode of action of the phytonanoparticles used to treat diabetes.
