User plane protocol design

This chapter mainly introduces the user plane protocol stack and related procedures. According to the protocol stack from top to bottom, it introduces SDAP-related functions, PDCP sublayer data transfer procedures, the impacts of DAPS on PDCP, and the enhancements of Radio Link Control. Finally, some specific features of the MAC sublayer compared with LTE are introduced.
