Isolation and Identification of Duck Flavivirus in Guangdong

Samples were collected from the diseased ducks in qingyuan city of Guangdong province.PCR and RT-PCR results showed that the isolate named strain QS was positive for duck flavivirus.Sequence analysis showed that strain QS was most closely related to tembusu virus,and had the greatest similarity(99%) with strain Fengxian.The results demonstrated that strain QS belonged to flavivirus,and might cause abrupt reduction of eggs.
