Emotional Expression Analysis Based on Fine-Grained Emotion Quantification Model Via Social Media

Social media has gradually become an essential part of individuals, where unrestrained emotions are shared on the public platform. Emotion is the nature production of physiological reaction which can even affect the mental status of individual. Emotional expression is used to describe when the individuals experience emotions, the ability of expressing their emotions with verbal or non-verbal behaviors. Therefore, in this paper, we proposed a fine-grained emotion quantification (FGEQ) model to quantify emotional expression with two main factors as emotional dimension and emotional intensity to seek for the correlation between emotional expression and mental status.
