Identification Method of the High-Resistance Single-Phase Disconnection Fault in Distribution Network Based on Distributed Measurement

The single-phase disconnection fault is highly dangerous and severely harmful to the operation of the distribution network, so it is much significant to identify the single-phase disconnection fault accurately. On the basis of distributed measurement, the identification method of the single-phase fault of the distribution network has been studied. Firstly, we analyzed and calculated the load-side equivalent circuit of the single disconnection fault and single grounding fault, educed the voltage features of these two faults at the load side and further put forward the single-phase disconnection fault identification method based on the voltage amplitude of load-side fault phase. The results of PSCAD/EMTDC simulation show that this method can accurately identify the high-resistance single-phase disconnection fault in the distribution network and is expected to resolve the difficult identification of single­phase disconnection fault of the distribution network.
