Fitz-Hugh-Curtis Syndrome in the Absence of Pelvic Inflammatory Disease.

A 34-year-old naturopathic woman presented to our emergency department with an abrupt right upper quadrant abdominal pain and elevated inflammatory markers. She lives a monogamous life and is sexually active with her life partner. Her past medical history included undergoing conization due to cervical intraepithelial neoplasia 5 years prior. The patient did not complain of any current or recent vaginal discharge, urinary symptoms, or discomfort during intercourse. She noticed a low-grade fever (a temperature of 37.5°C per mouth was noted on admission).
