Switchgear is one of the important electrical equipment in substation and it plays an important role in the safe and reliable operation of the power system. High voltage switch cabinet work environment makes its cooling condition poor, temperature rise and easily causes device failure. Due to the backward traditional temperature monitoring method based on high voltage switch cabinet, function is simple, can't meet the temperature real-time, on-line monitoring of temperature inside ark, therefore, an urgent need to study a new method to achieve within the switchgear contact temperature online monitoring. Articles on the function of the high voltage switchgear on-line temperature monitoring system is analyzed, and put forward the overall design of the system, and the hardware design for the temperature data acquisition device is introduced in detail; Then the temperature data acquisition device software is design on the software platform for, realizing the high voltage bus temperature measurement, and the temperature data receiving, display, alarm, storage and reading, etc. The integration of the various functional modules of the whole system, testing debugging has been completed, the results of the system long run in the field show that the system runs stable and reliable, the effect is good.
