Abstract
The present study analyzes the richness, floristic composition and ecological aspects of bryophytes of the park. The bryophytes were collected following the usual techniques for this group, with sampling carried out in two plot of a hectare each. Richness, sampling sufficiency, floristic composition, frequency, tolerance guilds and geographic distribution were analyzed. One thousand and fifty seven bryophyte occurrences were recorded (mosses 486 and 571 hepatics) for the park, totaling 103 species, distributed in 44 genera and 18 families. The liverworts had a higher species richness (59) in relation to mosses (44) and the most representative family was Lejeuneaceae (42). In terms of abundance, rare species were the highest with 62 (61%) and in relation to the guilds of tolerance, the generalist species stood out with 47 (46%). The species distribution is predominantly Neotropical (57%) and five species are new records for the state of Para.
