The invention relates to a high repetition frequency image data acquisition method, which comprises the following steps of: before acquiring image data in real time, acquiring a non-signal two-dimensional position sensitive detector fluorescent screen image, performing additive operation on all the acquired images, and averaging to generate a background image; collecting image data in real time, and performing background filtering on the current frame image; carrying out pixel gray value double-threshold filtering on the image after background filtering; performing data identification on the filtered image by adopting a BLOB algorithm to obtain an identification area; carrying out region diameter threshold filtering on the image after region identification; carrying out gravity center calculation on each identification area of the signal image to obtain a binarized gravity center image; and performing hierarchical accumulation on the binarized gravity center image of each frame of image to obtain image data. According to the invention, the data acquisition efficiency and the data acquisition signal-to-noise ratio are improved, the data acquisition resolution is improved, and the overall research capability of equipment is expanded.
