European journal of surgical oncology(2021)
摘要
Background: Sclerosing encapsulating peritonitis (SEP) is a rare condition characterized by chronic inflammation of the peritoneum that leads to the formation of a fibrous tissue that encases the intra abdominal organs, especially the small bowel and/or colon. It usually presents with repetitive episodes of bowel obstruction. Association with cytoreductive surgery (CRS) + hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) has been reported.
