摘要

•The in-situ reaction between graphene and Ti occurred, the TiC was formed.•TiC promotes the grain refinement of α-Ti in TiC/Ti6Al4V composite coating.•The presence of TiC increases the fraction of low-angle grain boundary and the texture strength.
