内蒙古阿拉善盟西北部普遍出露古元古界北山岩群海相变质火山-沉积岩系,泥盆纪-志留纪花岗质侵入岩发育,在岩体与北山岩群的外接触带发育矽卡岩化带,部分地段形成磁铁矿及黄铜矿.以标山南东磁铁矿点为例,对该地区磁铁矿的成矿地质条件、成因及找矿标志进行分析总结,对北山地区地质找矿工作具有一定启发意义.
