吴文尧教授集数十年临床经验,在脾胃病的病因病机、治则治法、遣方用药等方面均有独到之处,提出脾胃病的重要证候特点为脾虚肝郁、脾虚湿热;治则以疏肝、健脾、清化为主;具体用药则顺应肝、脾之生理特性.对吴老从脾虚、肝郁、湿热立论辨治脾胃病的学术经验进行总结,以期得到推广运用.
