摘要
Wilson's disease is an autosomal recessive inherited disorder which is related to pathological copper accumulation primarily in the liver and subsequently in the central nervous system, eye and many other organs and tissues. Changes of the skeletal system are rare in Wilson's disease. Musculoskeletal involvement decreases these patients' quality of life but with an early and appropriate treatment their quality of life can be improved. In this article, we present a 54-year-old Wilson's disease patient, who was admitted with three months of continuous neck and back pain. The patient's day and night pain levels being 9 and 4 at the time of admission decreased respectively to 1 and 0 after the treatment according to the visual analog scale. Wilson's disease should be kept in mind for patients admitted with musculoskeletal system involvement.
