摘要
A problem to be solved to promote sustainable development is related to the lack of relationship to materialize projects among universities, the institutions responsible for promoting them and communities. The lack of reliable and timely information that local actors and institutions must have makes it difficult to apply alternative solutions for the sustainable development of the land. For universities and geography, contributing to solving this situation is a challenge. A sustainable energy development model is presented based on the analysis of the renewable potential that exists in the territory, the care of the environment and the interaction with society, based on their needs and availability of resources. A geographic information system is available to students, professors and researchers to manage large volumes of geo-referenced data linked to the territory, to generate maps specifying the availability of endogenous energy resources, useful for designing projects that seek the sustainability of the territory. The Geoportal is exposed as a tool aimed at reducing the negative effects of the lack of information transparency related to territorial energy management.
