Engineered Human CYP2C9 and Its Main Polymorphic Variants for Bioelectrochemical Measurements of Catalytic Response.

•CYP2C9 and CYP2C9*2 CYP2C9*3 allelic variants are electrochemically characterised.•Enzymes were engineered linking P450 gene to flavodoxin to regulate electron flow.•Electrocatalysis allows to measure allelic variants different catalytic responses.•The bio-electrode can be used to make activity predictions on different drugs.
