Application of Thymine-Based Copolymers in the Quantification of Organic Pollutants in Water by Sensitized Fluorescence

•Bio-inspired copolymer enhances the native luminescence of benzo(a)pyrene and pyrene.•The lack of selectivity of the fluorescence technique is overcome by PARAFAC.•The new method has better Eco-Scale that the reference method.
