Abstract
Targeted on the fact that at present the sulphide and cyanide in terminally purified coking wastewater are in excess of the state standard, a new method for effective removal of the sulphide and cyanide comes into being and reaches on ideal result, in which poly-aluminium-ferric-silicate (abbreviated PAFSi) and a little potassium ferrate (K2FeO4) are used respectively for coagulation and oxidation, and a small amount of calcium oxide(CaO) is added for precipitation. The removing rates of the sulphide and cyanide surpass 90% and 85% respectively. The high-efficient oxidation of potassium ferrate and high-efficient coagulation of poly-aluminium-ferric-silicate are analyzed in theory. The impacting factors on the removal of the sulphide and cyanide including pH, temperature and COD were studied experimentally, and therefore the conclusions are reached accordingly.
