摘要

•PDGFRA gene rearrangement is reported in myeloid neoplasms with eosinophilia and confers sensitivity to tyrosine kinase inhibitors therapy.•FIP1L1/PDGFRA fusion gene is originated from a new, cryptic and complex intrachromosomal rearrangement of 4q12.•The molecular characterization of the peculiar chromosomal rearrangement and the associated genomic alterations is conducted.
